In partnership, SYNRGO’s mission is to assist Treehouse in giving foster kids a childhood and a future. Together, we envision and are actively creating a world where every child who has experienced foster care has the opportunities and the support, they need to pursue their dreams to launch them successfully into adulthood. SYNRGO’s annual holiday donation drives and volunteering activities are in support of Treehouse’s mission for the betterment of the lives of foster care youth.
Treehouse is dedicated to closing the achievement gap between youth in foster care and their peers forever.
By providing our students with the academic and other essential support that all kids need to succeed, we’ve watched them become more self-determined and invested in their education than ever before. And despite the challenges our students face in foster care, their graduation rates are on the rise.
Together, we are creating a road to hope and possibility for youth in foster care in Washington state.
Each morning, nearly 10,000 children in foster care in Washington state wake up to unfamiliar surroundings.
In foster care, they are safe from physical harm and dangerous neglect, but they are far from out of the woods socially, emotionally and academically. Trauma and loss, changes in homes and schools and emotional upheaval cause them to perform worse than their peers on every academic measure.
Stories to Inspire
The Bartko Foundation is a private non-profit organization whose mission is to invest in the self-sufficiency of single minority mothers. They assist those women most in need in achieving goals they have set for themselves helping them to continue positive progress in their life’s journey. Support focuses on goals related to education, transportation, housing and employment. We believe these areas have the most profound impact in the lives of our recipients and, therefore, our investments.
SYNRGO is proud to sponsor the 17th Annual Bartko Foundation Golf Classic being held on August 21st, 2020 at the Quicksilver Golf Course in Midway, PA.
